MAX RELOAD AND THE NETHER BLASTERS ARTICLE! <<<<< ARTICLE LINK 1980s throwback indie film 'Max Reload and The Nether Blasters' powers up in Phoenix Ottavia Zappala, Special for The Republic It's one in the morning at Fallout Games, a resale video-game store in Paradise Valley where independent feature film "Max Reload and The Nether Blasters" has been shot around Phoenix every night for the past month. This will be the most ambitious project so far for Peoria-based CineForge Media, an independent production studio that has specialized in video-game-related content over the last few years. "Max Reload" combines the main interests of writer/director duo Scott Conditt and Jeremy Tremp: cinema and video games. The result is a science-fiction adventure comedy centered around video games, featuring Hollywood talent. “The plot of 'Max Reload and The Nether Blasters' is a small-town video-game store clerk has to go from zero to hero after accidentally unleashing the forces of evil from a cursed ColecoVision game,” Conditt says.
