In an ongoing effort to foster and build up community we will be shining the light on amazing people within our industry that are doing great things. First up is Dan Fusselman. VFX wizard, Director supreme, editor extraordinaire. Dan is a guy we have had the great pleasure of collaborating and working with on numerous occasions, in various capacities.
Dan has worked with some of the biggest names in the music world as well as working on national spots with his skills in post production and visual effects. We look forward to working with Dan on our upcoming feature film and more in 2k17!
You can check out Dan's body of work at his website: www.dfuss.tv His most recent reel is below: Here are a few projects Dan has been involved in working on with us. CineForge Media has had the pleasure of collaborating with the awesome administrators, faculty and student creatives at the brand new Huntington University Digital Media Arts film school in Peoria, Az over the last few months! Shortly After being introduced to the new film school by our friend and colleague (and now Az State Film Commissioner), Matthew Earl Jones, we have had the opportunity to mentor and collaborate with some of Huntington's best and brightest, and we have been very impressed by the quality of character and artistry these next-generation filmmakers coming from the University represent. When the chance to move our offices on site to the University arose, we jumped at the chance to be neighbors with the coolest, newest film school in the West Valley. CineForge Media couldn't be happier with the new creative space and we look forward to it serving as a hub for West Valley film, while working with Huntington University throughout the year ahead towards building the local Az film community together. We can't wait to have our friends, family, supporters and clients to the NEW CineForge Media headquarters soon! Check out the VLOG from the move-in, shot on the good ol' iPhone....because well, all our gear was crated up for the move and there's no excuse not to shoot something when you always have a camera in your pocket. More to come!

From major label music videos, to producing our company’s first feature film, we are setting the bar very high for ourselves. A major part of our strategy is to build up the Arizona film scene and create lasting jobs for the talented men and women working here. The stage is set, the talent is in queue, and the pieces are just waiting to be put together. We have partnered with some amazing affiliates who will be instrumental in accomplishing these goals with us. But first some background on who CineForge is…
A year ago Scott and Jeremy met over the interwebs and hit it off as kindred spirits. A couple months later they created a short film together titled "Show No Mercy" Starring Martin Kove (Karate Kid, Rambo) and Jesse Kove (The Last Race, As Night Comes). The film screened at Phoenix Comicon to a packed theater of fans. Shortly after, the film was picked up for distribution by Green Apple Entertainment, and is slated for a world premiere in January of 2017. After the great experience of Show No Mercy, Scott and Jeremy began working together more frequently, becoming a force multiplier for one another, and decided to officially join forces to set their eyes on much larger goals: Producing studio-quality feature films and other forms of market-worthy, high concept, creative content. Scott and Jeremy each have over 10 years of experience in the industry from working within the Hollywood studio system, top-tier broadcast, and producing content for major label artists and prestige brands. The culmination of these experiences has coalesced into a laser-focused passion to put their talents to use to create great independent films, against all preconceived odds, and outside of the rigid formulaic constraints of the Old-Guard Studio Regime. In the first quarter of 2017 CineForge will be engaged with its strategic partners to: Premiere a Documentary on Game Jams and independent game developers, be in pre-production on a feature film, and will be producing music videos for major label artists. We believe in creating lifelong relationships with creatives and fostering the next generations of filmmakers. The value and contributions of a great crew can never be underestimated. A vibrant and collaborative community trumps a hostile “me vs you” environment every time and we try to lead by example. If you are interested in networking with us as a crew member, actor, intern, or an affiliate please send an email so we can chat! The Forge is now open for business…. |
